@peruvit I have just watched him sing at the 1989 grammys and as I expected it was not sang live. He can’t sing live but yet he’s called the king of pop. I think the music industry does not know what justice is.

@xxxSLITxxx Yes I know what your saying but if you are not going to sing live then in a way thats cheating because you are not really giving a live performance. For instance I use to really like David Bowie but he is no longer my favourite singer because in my opinion he doesn’t sing that good live. I think the ones who should be highly respected are the ones who sing big songs live. Instead MJ just seemed to focus on his dancing and putting on a good show on stage.
@xxxSLITxxx no one does it anywhere near as good as he did it at his peak. if you think its all about he voice and just watching some person stand still on stage on stage for two hours then thats your choice. if i want to listen to a great vocal i’ll just put on a CD instead. i think shows like american idol have put to much emphasis on vocal and thats worn off on many people which is sad because thats not what a live show is all about. live is about the spectacle and performance. anyways peace
@ArmageddonComingSoon its not all about the vocal or having the best voice its about being able to be an amazing performer, having amazing stage presence writing and producing your own material and creating origional and unique stage performances and videos that will go on forever… leona lewis for example has a great voice (technically) but i would never go to see her in concert. rather than a technically perfect voice MJ had an incredible tone & energy and charisma.

I think he lip sync some time because of his age and he dance with alot of energy and some time faster then other dancer or more dance step then the other dancer so maybe it is very tiring and in his This IS IT his dance speed is just like all the other young dancer and he is already 50 and he also sing live in THIS IS IT. All i can say that he is a legend and a great performer

@xxxSLITxxx Of course MJ was a great artist. I just think he is over rated a bit. There are singers who come out and sing some of the biggest songs of all time and they sing it live, but because they are not MJ they don’t get as much credit. I supose it’s ok to call him the king of pop but I doubt that any honest person could call him the king of live vocals.
@xxxSLITxxx …and sorry for the 3 popsts but just adding one more thing. just watch the bad tour for example there is quite alot of footage on here and/or ask someone who went to a bad tour concert what it was like im pretty sure they will say its the best show they ever went to. sop dissing the guy. he’s a musical genius. peace to you
@xxxSLITxxx and then the dangerous tour which was 70% live but fille dwith loads of high energy routines, and energy you won’t see any where else. MJ live is about the entire performance not just the great singing voice. sure by the point in this video he lip sync very often but he had laryngitis and had already proved many times over he can do it. its like asking usain bolt to run sub 10 seconds when hes 40. it aint going to happen. this guy proved along time ago hes one of the best to do it…
@ArmageddonComingSoon saying that to a guy who by his 12th birthday had performed well over 1000 100% live shows. by his 20th had done well over 3000 live shows and tours in front of millions of people around the world along with some of the most spectacular choreography and energy any performer has ever had. sure he is lip syncing here but no big deal. he always does that on live tv shows. i dont know why but he does. i think he earned the right to though. just look at the bad tour 98% live!!!
